Several more species were welcomed into the Camel Park in 1998, when it was still a camel farm thanks to the family’s compassion and concern for animals. More than 100 animals call the park home today, including our 60 camels, ostriches, goats, deer, ponies, wallabies, llamas, alpacas, lemurs, turtles, fish, and many birds. Each species has a unique name and personality. The well-known Mazotos park is ideally situated between Larnaca, Limassol, and Nicosia, and it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. Being the largest camel park in Europe and the only one in Cyprus, it has been awarded the “Trip Advisor” Certificate of Excellence for the previous ten years.
